Peugeot 403 Cabriolet

THE CAR'S STORY

Color: Grey
Mileage: 76.500 KM
Engine: 1400cc
Gearbox: manual

Year: 1960

Produced from 1955 to 1966, the 403 Cabriolet became famous next to Detective Colombo. But if Peugeot collectors and connoisseurs give it such a special spot in their hearts nowadays, it is due to the fact that only 2043 units were ever produced and that the best french word to describe it would be „prestance“. Indeed, the 403 cabriolet attracts quite some attention, wherever it gets parked or seen.

With a bit under 76.500 km shown on the odo, our example is free of any corrosion. The dark red leather presents in great condition, the interior is well preserved and all controls and switches work. The folding roof opens and closes without any issues and also presents in great condition. The paint shows some patina, the chromes present very well. The engine runs flawlessly such as the gearbox. This car spent the last 20 years with its last owner who always stored it in a dry garage.  A great opportunity to acquire a good example of a piece of french automotive history.
